LANGLANDS PARK

Langlands Park is a leading sporting precinct in Brisbane, Queensland. It is the home ground of the Easts Tigers, a rugby league team that competes in the Queensland Cup.

The park features a swimming pool, the memorial pool, sports fields, a wood-fired barbecue, a fitness station, a picnic area, a playground and a cycling/walking path.

Pro-Knit Industries supplied their leading Monotec shadecloth to the park’s playground. The 100 percent round monofilament yarn makes this cloth stronger and more durable than other types. Monotec offers greater resistance to high winds with increased stability and was developed as an ‘install and forget’ shadecloth.

The cloths for Langlands Park were supplied in bright hues that complement the colour of the play equipment, creating an inviting playspace for all.
