Launching Place Public School

Located in the regional township of Launching Place, the primary school playground is a thoughtfully designed play environment that brings together active movement, challenge and imaginative exploration. The space was developed to provide a broad range of physical experiences across age groups, encouraging strength, coordination and confidence in a cohesive and engaging outdoor setting.

The playground is anchored by a large Resilience range structure, featuring a dramatic purple spiral slide and an interconnected network of climbing elements, traversing bars and skill-building obstacles. These elements combine vertical play and lateral movement to encourage children to explore at their own pace while developing physical capabilities through challenge-based experiences.

Supporting freestanding equipment adds further variety, with swings, balance features and upper-body challenge elements creating a well-rounded play environment. The layout encourages movement throughout the site, with clear sightlines and generous circulation areas that allow multiple children to play simultaneously in a connected, flowing space.

Designed, manufactured and installed locally in Australia, this playground reflects a balance between bold visual character and functional durability. Its placement within the school grounds fosters natural interaction, movement and social connection, making it a vibrant outdoor asset for the Launching Place Primary School community.
