King George Square is a public domain located adjacent to Brisbane City Hall. Throughout its history, it has undergone 3 major upgrades. The most recent being influenced by an award winning design. 

A compact surface drainage system was required suitable for a public space to be regularly trafficked by pedestrians.

Designers selected ACO’s SlabDrain system as it was shallow enough to fit above structural beams of the carpark’s suspended concrete roof slab. Heelsafe^® Anti-Slip grates were also specified to meet the requirements for slip resistance whilst preventing stiletto heels from being trapped.
