Their Stainless Foodpro 150 system, coupled with Hydro’s expertise in bespoke fabrication, was utilised on Woolworth’s recent project. The 62,000m2 site, located in Truganina, houses Woolworths’ primary meat processing and distribution facility for Victoria.
The state-of-the-art processing facility required a high-spec drainage system to cope with the high volumes of water and debris generated during programmed wash-down periods. It also required the capability to be completely dried prior to production runs.
The preferred modular system, fabricated in 316-grade stainless steel, incorporated design elements such as a sloped base for increased hydraulic performance, inline sumps to catch debris and Class D slip resistant grates to withstand forklift traffic, making it safe for workers.
