Playrope makes ‘BIG SPLASH’ by introducing Vortex Aquatic Structures International, World Leaders in Aquatic Playgrounds, to the Australian market.
2011 has been an exciting year for Playrope by becoming the exclusive distributors for Vortex Aquatic Structures in Australia and New Zealand, adding to its already very successful playground equipment business.

Although the task of establishing a product in a new market is always daunting, the Australian market is quickly recognising why Vortex has the world reputation as not only being the most prolific world supplier of Splashpads and Poolplay equipment with over 4500 installations, but also set the benchmark in all aspects of aquatic play technology, design, water conservation, safety and interactive play value.

Vortex’s uncompromising approach and price competiveness has seen Playrope successfully tender for several Projects in the short time that Vortex has been available in Australia.

The two most recent success stories are Newcastle City Council, who have contracted Playrope to supply and install a Vortex Poolplay Zero Depth Elevation at the Lambton Swimming Centre and Griffith City Council, who have contracted Playrope to not only supply and install a Vortex Zero Depth Splashpad but also the largest rope climbing structure in the Southern Hemisphere, amongst other playground equipment for their City Park project.

Playrope are not only now the distributers of Vortex, but we have the in house expertise to provide services from concept design through to completion and beyond.

So whether you are a Landscape Architect, Designer, Council (Parks, Reserves, Aquatic Centres, Holiday Parks, etc), Developer, or any other organisation that are considering designing or installing an Aquatic Playground, or would like to receive additional information and a Vortex Catalogue to ensure you are well informed about what Vortex brings to the Australian market, and how the Vortex difference can enhance your project or design, please contact;
