SHADERUNNER TRANSFORMS OUTDOOR SPACE AT WESTCARE ELC

The Shaderunner® Retractable Shades were engineered for smooth, effortless operation. Of these, ten systems face the north side, measuring 3.0m wide by 5.3m extension, while three on the west side extend to 5.5m. Designed to deliver optimal sun protection, these retractable shades also maintain an open, airy atmosphere when retracted. The shades are made with 95% polyester mesh fabric, offering superior UV protection, glare reduction and resistance to mildew and fire. Backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, the fabric ensures long-lasting performance and peace of mind.

Complementing the retractable shades, a self-standing Shaderunner® Trax Pergo motorised structure was also installed, adding both comfort and style to the outdoor sandpit play area. This versatile stand alone structure, measuring 5.4m wide by 5.5m extension with a 300mm fabric drop, boasts a sturdy powder-coated aluminium frame with robust columns and side beams, providing unmatched stability and durability. All of the Shaderunner® Systems can be either operable manually, or with a slimline Somfy RTS Motor for added convenience, allowing for easy shade adjustments at the touch of a button.

The Shaderunner® Pro Retractable Shade Systems and Trax Pergo structure are key elements of this project, providing essential shade coverage for outdoor areas where children can play, learn and explore in comfort. The Shaderunner® systems are designed for hassle-free operation and come with a 10 year product warranty and a 5-year Somfy motor warranty, ensuring reliable performance and effortless control.
