SAME GAME NEW NAME
20 Sep 2017
Seeing significant growth over the past 10 years, Blade Recreation has upped their game. While continuing to offer superior play and sporting equipment – like the Fusion Unit – the company will now trade as Blade Recreation.
Move over Curb Markers. Blade Recreation is in town.
After almost ten years as Curb Markers Australia, it’s time for a change. Enter Blade Recreation. A lot has happened during the past 10 years and the nature and focus of Curb Markers has changed significantly in that time. A long-standing association with playgrounds, sports goals and other recreational products has seen a shift in the direction of the business. A name change to Blade Recreation is symbolic of that shift.
Over the coming months Curb Markers clients will see the gradual change from the Curb Markers branding to that of Blade Recreation as the Blade team move forward into an exciting new chapter in the company’s future.

The Fusion Unit gets a makeover!
In keeping with the company’s evolving brand, Strategic partners Curb Markers Australia in conjunction with Industrial by Nature have recently added new activities to the extremely popular Basketball/Soccer Combination Fusion Unit.
The Fusion Unit is now available with various new options that include a Goalie image fitted to the rear of the Soccer cage, side panel Cricket stumps, and side dress panels or targets fitted to the rear of the Soccer cage.
All of these new additions are made from hard-wearing, high-density polyethylene.
The Fusion Unit now offers a number of activities in one compact combination piece making it the perfect solution for installation in confined multi-sport areas that would otherwise be underutilised.
The Fusion unit features the traditional basketball tower and anti-dunk ring with a fully enclosed soccer goal positioned underneath, and is fabricated from heavy-gauge powdercoated steel. The backboard finish is marine ply, and decorative panel options are made from high-density polyethylene. Units are available in four funky colour schemes or can be supplied in custom colours to complement existing playgrounds, outdoor furniture or sporting goals.
