Mindarie Reserve in Lane Cove now offers an exciting new nature-inspired playground by Parkequip that is designed to provide challenging fun for children of all ages and abilities.
Completed in February 2019, Mindarie Reserve playground was manufactured by Landscape Structures and supplied and installed by Parkequip. This inclusive playground was designed to cater for a wide range of children with varying degrees of abilities, while offering challenges as they explore the many nature-inspired features. 
With childhood obesity and behavioural disorders on the rise, the benefits of nature-inspired play have taken centre stage.
Research shows that children who play in natural settings are typically healthier, happier and more likely to appreciate the world around them.
Green space, sunlight and fresh air can reduce the symptoms of ADHD, improve academic performance, increase motor skills, strength and coordination, and even help build social skills. The benefits go on and on.

- Explore and find | Children are encouraged to find the many bush turkeys, lizards, snakes, kangaroos and turtles that are scattered throughout the playspace
