KEEP IT GREEN

17 Oct 2019

Grange Growing Solutions manufactures a range of premium landscape products on demand, including green roof and green wall mixes, that are suitable for a wide range of applications.

Grange Growing Solutions was founded in 1986, originally providing a preblended Australian casing layer to the mushroom industry. More than 30 years later, the company has grown to become the largest potting mix manufacturer in NSW.

Grange’s strength in the landscaping sector is in developing structural mixes for various landscaping applications. Two such applications include green roofs and green walls.

GREEN ROOF MIX

Green Roofs are an attractive and energy-saving alternative to a conventional rooftop. Rooftop gardens can keep buildings cooler, save energy, extend the life of the roof, add aesthetic quality, and even double as a produce garden and/or entertaining space for a wide range of applications.

A green roof mix is a blend of raw materials that take into consideration the longevity and weight of rooftop garden applications.

GREEN WALL MIX

Green walls enhance our environment by facilitating vertical landscaping of walls and building façades. Advantages include added aesthetic site value, improved sound insulation, improved heat insulation of walls and façades, enhanced air quality, reduced airborne pollutants and reduced stormwater runoff.

When designing a green wall mix, Grange is careful to keep it as lightweight as possible and goes to great lengths to ensure that its longevity is maintained.

Grange’s focus on quality and service has not changed since the company began back in 1986. All products are quality assured by SAI global and NASAA (organic certification), and accredited by the nursery and garden industry of NSW & ACT, which incorporates EcoHort.
