IN GROUND, ABOVE GROUND AND ... ON WATER

03 Feb 2022

A recent event featuring Mr Trampoline in-built trampolines was a phenomenal success that inspired some innovative thinking about lightweight frames for high-performance trampolines … on pontoons!

Set on the beach out the front of the Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club on the Mornington Peninsula, a promotional activity featuring Mr Trampoline in-built trampolines prompted some truly innovative design thinking. Currently at the conceptual stage, Mr Trampoline is looking into developing a stainless-steel lightweight frame that will incorporate the high-performance two-string trampoline beds floating on pontoons in the bay, rising and falling with the tide, for the ultimate in summer bouncing fun.

INNOVATION

MrTrampoline has been at the forefront of trampoline innovation since its inception as Steelfast back in 1947. Supplying quality inground trampolines to the world for over 70 years, MrTrampoline’s products are the benchmark of commercial and public space trampoline equipment. Built to last decades in harsh Australian outdoor conditions, this family-owned, Australian manufacturing business is the premium trampoline manufacturer in Australia, making products for Australian families, athletes and commercial ventures (including BOUNCEinc, NSW Institute of Sport, and Lorne Foreshore among others).

RANGE

MrTrampoline offers a range of off-the-shelf and fully customisable commercial trampoline products in a variety of sizes. The flexible and durable colour coatings even allow for a custom logo and centre mark to reflect client branding.

  • Inground model | The frame is set to the ground prior to excavation.
  • Deck model | For building into dedicated timber construction, bolted down to reinforced and formed concrete walls, core-filled reinforced block walls, and for structurally designed post and sleeper pit installations.

Typical inground installation requires an excavation of 1.2 metres. Mini models requiring a 0.7 metre pit depth are also available.

Inhouse experts can assist with technical drawings and contractor liaison to assist with any questions clients have regarding installation.

DESIGN FACILITY

Through many years of R&D (including a collaboration with RMIT University), MrTrampoline has developed premium trampolining products that are vastly superior to anything else on the market.

COMPOSITION AND MANUFACTURE

The frames are made from all-Australian steel, galvanised through a hot-dip process that provides decades of serviceability over its closest rivals: these frames won’t rust, even in coastal areas. The springs are made from high-tensile galvanised steel according to Mr Trampoline’s specifications, attached to a uniquely designed wiggle bar on the side of the frame for superior life and accurate spring placement. The bounce beds are woven on specialised looms and to this day maintain their position on the global stage as the most in-demand, high-performance, and longest-life commercial and competition trampoline beds available. All product coatings are designed to withstand the harsh outdoor elements of the Australian climate.
