A local institution in Singapore has just completed the largest green wall installation in the world, with internal and external walls of nine campus blocks and roofs of three others covered in greenery. The walls that stand at 35 metres tall and span across 5,300 square metres comprise of highly engineered Vertical Greening Modules (VGM). With plans to embark on more vertical greening projects, Singapore’s demand for VGM technologies is significant.
Seeing the benefits of revitalising the congested city and reducing air temperature to save energy with plants, there has also been an explosive growth in demand for vertical greening systems from developers in Hong Kong.
