GIVING NEW LIFE TO RECYCLED METAL

09 Feb 2017

Artist Russ Brebner designs sculptural pieces using recycled metal for a variety of commercial and domestic projects, creating unique designs formed around the requirements of individual projects.

Established in 2005, Rusty Sculptures specialises in transforming recycled metal items into art. Designed and manufactured by Sculptor Russ Brebner, these one-of-a-kind art pieces are crafted from new and recycled items specifically tailored to individual project needs.

Decorative display panels suit any home or business. Using less space than traditional sculpture, decorative panels can add artistic flare to any sized space. Panels for interior rooms can be designed to serve a variety of functions, from room dividers or wall screens to internal gates or art hangings, while exterior decorative panels can be used to create boundaries or provide privacy for outdoor spaces.

Exterior gates customised to specific requirements that meet a project need or creative drive can transform an entryway or courtyard space instantly, offering safety and security, or just a ‘wow’ factor that customers will remember.

With an ever changing availability of recycled materials, whether you’re choosing a custom design or a Rusty Sculptures standard, you’re guaranteed each piece will be unique.

Customisable for any interior or exterior application each piece can be modified to suit any size or subject manner. Projects can be designed with specific themes or functional items - the possibilities are endless.

Recently a customer approached Russ to create a memorial piece using the items left behind in a loved one’s shed. The end result was a unique wall hanging that will now be treasured forever.

Russ is currently working on several new designs which will be unveiled at the Rusty Sculptures display stand at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show from 29 March – 2 April 2017.
