CIB World Building Congress 2013 showcases some of the world’s best research and development in the built environment and construction sectors.



CIB World Building Congress 2013 showcases some of the world’s best research and development in the built environment and construction sectors by a global research network of more than 5000 members focused on innovation.


This year’s triennial event, held from 5-9 May 2013, will focus on the relationship between Construction and Society, in particular, how research helps to maximise the contribution of constructed assets to social goals, and meet emerging social needs. The Congress will represent more than 50 CIB Working Commissions and Task Groups.

Session themes include sustainability, law, procurement, regulation, economics, marketing, management, IT, health, education, safety, planning, culture, clients, disasters, performance and contexts.
