The waterproof Shaderunner® systems provide controllable shade on demand with the extra benefit of waterproof protection when raining. By electing to install this weatherproof shade solution, year-round use of the outdoor areas is achieved whatever the weather, therefore maximising commercial space.

The increasingly popular Shaderunner® is a fully retractable shade system, providing controllable shade on demand as and when required. In the warmer months or during hotter times of the day, the Shaderunner® Retractable Shade System can be extended as and when required to provide patrons with UV protection and welcome shade. In the cooler months, the Shaderunner® can be retracted to maximise winter sun. By selecting a waterproof fabric, the King Tide Brewing systems can also be deployed for rain protection, enabling year-round use of the beer garden.

Supported by heavy-duty stainless-steel cables, the Shaderunner® Retractable Shade System can span larger areas with minimal support structure, providing an aesthetically appealing and practical solution for commercial spaces. Though available with motorised operation, the King Tide Brewery Shaderunners® are controlled manually using an endless draw cord for simplicity of operation. The Shaderunners® glide effortlessly along the wires via a series of ball bearing yachting pulleys, providing a durable and dependable retractable shade solution.

The Shaderunner® is manufactured from a range of rigorously tested fabrics which are as durable as they are stylish, being designed to withstand high traffic applications and the demands of the harsh Australian climate with ease. At King Tide Brewing, the Shaderunners® are manufactured from Waterproof PVC fabric in the colour white, providing excellent shade and glare reduction as well as UV and weatherproof protection with a contemporary look.
