At Our Lady of Mercy College in Parramatta, Landscape Architect, James Mather Delaney Design and Architect, Tzannes Assoc, delivered an ethereal “wall of green” that utilises Ronstan AGS4c X-Tend® mesh for plant structural support. The 470m² eastern facing green wall facade works with louvers above to provide morning shade and natural ventilation to the building interior. Mesh apertures of 120mm and 240mm were matched with plant species in alternate panels to create a natural variation in growth and green aesthetic across the facade; both meshes chosen for their ability to encourage consistent plant coverage across the full panel.
