APOLLO HAS LANDED
22 Mar 2017
A new play range by Rhinoplay, in collaboration with distributors Blade Recreation, has landed in Australia. The new modular system offers flexibility that allows clients to create a playspace to suit site requirements.
Rhinoplay, in collaboration with distributors Blade Recreation, is proud to release their new Apollo Playground Rocket. Designed as a flexible modular system, the Rocket can be tailored to site and budgetary requirements. The fanciful structures are available in heights of 5.1m and 6.9m, up to a maximum of 8.7m, which prove an amazing focal point in any playground.
The Apollo Rocket features a range of activities for children of all ages. Easy access, low-level play panels allow toddlers to have fun, while simple climbing activities provide access to moderate levels within the Rocket for younger children. Play options include 1200mm-high open slides, mid-level spiral slides, cable climbers, and activity panels.
The upper levels of the Rocket cater to the needs of older children, with activities including more difficult climbing challenges, overhanging escape pods, a pilot’s cockpit and giant tube slides. With kids’ safety in mind, the Rocket also features transparent slide tubes to allow parents and carers to supervise children as they glide down the giant slides, reducing the opportunity for kids to stop mid-slide.
With safety always paramount, the lowest level of the Apollo Rocket has been specifically designed to reduce the potential for climbing its exterior. A fine mesh pattern has been used from ground level up to a height of 3m to ensure that footholds are eliminated.
