Forpark Australia is thrilled to share the success of one of its most ambitious projects, Copper City. Located in the remote mining town of Mount Isa, Queensland, this magnificent playground stands as a testament to the company's commitment to innovation and timely delivery.
The architects behind Copper City presented Forpark Australia with a seemingly impossible challenge: create a playground that would not only blend seamlessly with the surrounding terrain but also be completed in time for Mount Isa's 100 Year celebrations. The Forpark team embraced the opportunity and rose to the occasion, proud to have met and exceeded the city’s expectations. 
One of the unique aspects of Copper City is the installation of the main towers on mounds, mirroring the natural landscape. This creative design decision adds depth and symbolism to the playground, making it truly immersive. Three Elevate towers stand tall, interconnected by rope bridges that span impressive lengths of 7.7m and 6.2m. The roofs of the towers were custom-made, showcasing Forpark’s dedication to precision and attention to detail. 
The grand opening of the Family Fun Park was a momentous occasion, graced by the presence of Bob Katter and esteemed council dignitaries. The event was filled with joy and excitement as children and families explored the playground, experiencing the thrill and wonder that only quality equipment can provide.
