The Queensland Arboricultural Association (QAA) celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2012. The Association represents the tree management industry in Queensland and Northern NSW, and with 350 individual members (and climbing), it is constantly striving to increase public awareness of the benefits of trees and to improve tree care and workplace health and safety through implementation of ‘Best Practice’ methodologies.

The upcoming seminar is tailored to deliver an up-to-date, practical and effective understanding of the role that trees play in the development process. Core to proceedings are the implications and applications to all development related professionals of the Australian Standard, AS 4970. Contents have been developed to meet the needs of architects, developers, landscape architects and planners.
