Heelguard grating encompasses the two most important requirements for your outdoor walkway - style and safety. Heelguard has small 12.5mm openings to ensure maximum surface space while allowing drainage of rain or other sources of water. These small openings also mean that these walkways are the ideal choice for areas that need to be accessed by wheelchairs or prams.

Walkway grating can be ordered to size in a hot dip galvanised steel for durability and an ultra-modern finish. As well as public recreation areas, galvanised steel Heelguard grating can be found in outdoor shopping malls, foot bridges and other busy public areas that experience high pedestrian and light wheeled traffic.

Alternatively, Rhino Grating is able to supply Heelguard grating in a variety of colours made from FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic). This non corrosive material will suit environments where the preference is for the walkway to blend into its natural surroundings and has successfully been used in public parks and environmentally sensitive areas.
