VersiDrain^® 8 is a dimpled plastic sheet that acts as a barrier and provides protection for the waterproofing membrane from backfill.  The pronounced dimples of the VersiDrain^® 8 create a vapour and thermal insulation barrier in both internal walls and walls adjacent to waterproofing membranes.

The VersiDrain^® 8 offers protection from rising damp in ground slabs and replaces traditional lean concrete sub-base slabs without compromising the load-bearing capacity of the sub-base. The dimpled plastic sheet also offers a level of puncture resistance when installed underneath slabs as a vapour and/or drainage barrier.

Finally, VersiDrain^® 8 is well suited to chemical container and storage facilities as the VersiDrain^® 8 creates a cavity control layer when placed between the reinforced concrete base and concrete floor surfaces. This allows for continuous monitoring to determine leakage of chemical containers.
