Kompan’s FREEGAME court is changing the face of team sports by providing a space that accommodates multiple games and functions. FREEGAME explores the benefits of both sports and socialising and offers community members a place to meet, move, and have fun.
The FREEGAME concept is innovative and original. The size of the court provides up to 10 activity zones for independent and group play, making the investment value for money with immediate effect. The platform supports games such as tennis, basketball, soccer, hockey and running, amongst others.
Kompan FREEGAME is also designed to be a welcoming place for meeting and interacting. The site encourages regular gatherings of young people which are important for their personality building and leading an active and healthy lifestyle. All-round visibility allows the users to feel safe and the broad entrance of the pitches provides accessibility for all, meaning adolescents with disabilities can become involved either as participants or spectators.
FREEGAME is able to be fully customised to match the budget, space, and wishes of future users and the design is based on an extremely durable hot-dip galvanised steel structure.
This open functional design has been developed in more than 1200 sites in Europe and is set to be equally as popular in the Australian market.
Brisbane-based playground company, Urban Play, has recently installed a 400m2 multisport pitch at Crestmead, in Queensland. The court is the first of its kind in Queensland and the third one in Australia.
By distributing for leading play equipment brands, Urban Play sets the benchmark for innovative play design. For more information or to obtain a free design and quote, please contact Urban Play on 07 3844 1877 or email: info@urbanplay.com.au
