The Boilerhouse Student Precinct of the University of Western Sydney, Parramatta, recently received a number of accolades for its architectural design and recognition for its historical significance.

Designers transformed the sandstone brick building into a well-designed common area to integrate all student related activities. The plaza is constantly filled with people and so the walking surface, including the drainage grates, was evaluated for safety.

ACO’s KlassikDrain was specified with Heelsafe® Anti-Slip grates to ensure the metal surfaces would not trap women’s heels. The grate offers a level of slip resistance providing greater assurance on wet days.
