Get ready for the new style 2011 Nursery & Garden Industry Awards!
Nursery & Garden Industry Australia is pleased to announce that the 2011 NGI Awards Program will run live off the Awards Website. This is an exciting step forward for our industry that will save time and money for all involved.
You can look forward to a simplified online entry process and new criteria for each category. There will also be new Awards for 2011 - the NGI Marketing Award; the NGI Environment Award – Retail; and the NGI Environment Award - Production.
New criteria for the Production Nursery categories will see changes in the number of full-time staff per category. Production nurseries will be classed as small if they have one to nine full-time equivalent (FTE) staff, those with 10 to 24 FTE staff will be classed as medium and production nurseries with 25 or more FTE staff will be classed as large.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of support for the NGI Export Award this category will no longer be part of the program.
The awards acknowledge industry leaders as they strive to achieve best business practice. The program is open to all companies that grow or sell plants, or provide products and services that assist businesses involved in the growing and selling of plants, regardless of size.
Participating in the awards program guarantees you will receive invaluable judges’ feedback. You will also accrue CNP points for entering and the benefits only get better as you progress through the program
