2009 Victorian Landscape Awards - Celebrating Excellence

The Landscape Industries Association of Victoria (LIAV) held its premier event, the Victorian Landscape Awards, on Saturday October 24 at the National Gallery of Victoria. The awards celebrated the latest and the best landscape projects from around the state.

Projects were judged across categories of design, construction and maintenance in both the residential and commercial sectors. This year’s nominated projects featured a diverse plant palette, elaborate stonework and paving styles, and swimming pools, and highlighted the fact that Landscaping Victoria members can create inspiring and whimsical spaces across all domains. Sustainability was also a recurring theme.

The Victorian Landscape Awards aim to inspire and motivate those in the landscape industry to raise the quality standards of landscape projects and reflect the latest styles and trends of gardens in the state.
