Project overview
The Artisan Luxury Apartment Complex was built on a former industrial car park. The boutique 129 unit development is spread across five buildings. It is surrounded by parkland and Sydney Harbour providing a lifestyle environment for the buildings occupants.
The contemporary design provides quality features and finishes, both inside and out, with the living environment being enhanced by a gymnasium, sauna, mini tennis court and outdoor communal BBQ facilities.
Parex Group's Davco acoustic underlay, waterproofing membranes and tile adhesives were used throughout the development in the hallways, living areas, kitchens and bathrooms.
Acoustic Underlay and Waterproofing Membrane
Sound Zero Acoustic Mat reduces sound transmission through floor tiling systems making it ideal for this large development. It is a direct stick acoustic tiling system that sits flat for ease of use. All internal wet areas such as bathrooms and showers, were waterproofed with K10 Plus - a water based polyurethane waterproofing membrane.
Tile Adhesive
A range of Parex Group's Davco adhesives were used on this project:
- F1 Express was used as it is a highly flexible tile adhesive. It is fast setting to allow for same day grouting. Suitable for internal and external application it can be used for wall and floor tiles
- Powder Mastic Flexible Tile Adhesive is ideal for translucent and light coloured tiles with an extended open time for longer repositioning of tiles. Powder Mastic features our Dust Less Technology which means less dust, less mess and faster clean up
- Dribond Off White Tile Adhesive is a cement-based adhesive ideal for application on rigid substrates. With a very good strength and flexibility, it is suitable for internal and external applications on either a thick or then bed
