PELICAN WATERS | CENTRAL PARK + WATERFRONT PARK

Street+ Garden is continually working with Anembo Consultants to deliver unique specialised custom furniture, shelters and feature elements for Pelican Waters near Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.

CONSIDERATIONS

The coastal location of the project called for premium finishes with high durability and low maintenance. Street + Garden was able to design and deliver a solution to meet these requirements with all products being manufactured locally. All furniture is compliant with the Sunshine Coast Open Space Landscape Infrastructure Manual (LIM), which is an award-winning procurement guideline with a focus on equal access and durability.

OPPORTUNITIES

Anembo Consultants and Pelican Waters continue to give Street + Garden the opportunity to explore the coastal design theme which has led to the evolution of the shelter design to incorporate a substantial cantilever. This required significant structural knowledge and engineering certification to bring to reality, a key difference with the full custom design service Street+ Garden offers covering design, supply and certification processes.
