CUSTOM PRECAST GRC LANDSCAPING SOLUTIONS

Precast Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) from Satu Bumi is high-quality concrete with glass fibre reinforcement that can be precast into virtually any shape or size to suit the planter and furniture design requirements of most landscaping projects. The durability and long life expectancy of quality concrete are well known in the construction industry. However, the addition of glass fibre reinforcement makes GRC difficult to beat in the specification of outdoor projects that need to functionally and aesthetically last for decades. In addition, the ability to precast GRC landscaping elements offsite provides significant efficiency advantages for construction projects over onsite blockwork and formwork. 

The use of custom precast GRC landscaping elements was utilised in the construction of the Everlane at 22/26 GordonStreet, Cremorne. Everlane was developed by Monno, with architecture provided by Fieldwork, interior designs by MIM Design and construction by Figurehead. The GRC elements for the landscaping of the Everlane building were manufactured offsite, including custom GRC seating benches, custom rectangle GRC planters with an exposed aggregate finish and custom round GRC plnaters which included a fluted finish that acted as feature pieces for the project's roof top setting.
