RIVERSLEIGH D SITE SHELTER

Declared a world heritage site in 2022, Natureworks has designed and built an interpretative rock cave sculpture to Riversleigh D Site. Over a three-month period, a three-man team tackled the construction of the rock cave on site.

Fabricated from steel, sand and cement, the rock cave is to blend into the surrounding environment and take on the disguise as a fallen boulder. Inside is the unique handcrafted 3D reconstruction of a giant terrestrial crocodile battling a giant flightless bird.

The re-enactment from the prehistoric period, Natureworks has delivered a one-of-a-kind mural and rock cave that educates visitors on the prehistoric period and is a visual element they will remember.
