Cowra Quartz is a Rocla/Benedict joint venture, and the site has undergone a huge transformation since this joint venture commenced. The Cowra Quartz operation has a proven track record and a reputation for producing high-quality materials in large volumes.
The current product range at Cowra Quartz includes various-sized pebbles and pebble blends ranging from 3mm to 40mm in both white and gold. These products are utilised in various applications including a waterproof membrane protective layer on rooftops, decorative ground cover, pathways/driveways, specialised drainage applications, decorative concrete and filtration projects just to name a few.
The site has also produced large volumes of specialised wash sands that are extensively used in drainage, bedding materials, production of concrete and asphalt, and various other situations.
Cowra Quartz pebble is currently available at most landscape supply companies across Sydney, the Southern Highlands, Central Coast, South Coast and the ACT. The sands are mostly sold into local markets due to the cost of freight.
