When it comes to recycling Flinders Christian Community College in Currum Downs Victoria has it in the bag. Eighteen months into a soft plastic collection program, the college has gathered over 500kg of plastic which it has returned to Replas for recycling.

Purchasing recycled products is the key to making recycling viable, and Flinders Christian Community college thoroughly embraces this pull-through concept. Carey Cole, Community Engagement Coordinator said, “We aim to become a community that practices good stewardship through recycling”.

Replas has collaborated with the school on many projects and the latest is the design of a brand new outdoor setting called The College, in honour of the incredible contribution to recycling made by the school community.

Carey states, “We are delighted to be closing the loop by purchasing this outdoor furniture, which has been manufactured by Replas using some of the plastic that we have collected”.

The College Setting is perfect for schools, universities and organisations that want to add their own individual flavour to the setting. Customers can select different coloured slats to create a unique design that adds a stylish touch to any location.

The setting comes complete with a table and two benches. To maximise seating, additional end benches and seats with backs are available upon request.

As is the case with all our recycled-plastic furniture, these tables and benches are virtually maintenance free.
