STOCKLAND THE GABLES SPORTING PRECINCT

At the heart of Stockland’s master-planned community in Gables, NSW, lies a 4.5-hectare, multi-million-dollar sporting precinct, an ambitious space designed by Place Design Group to foster connection, recreation and wellbeing.

This $21 million project delivers a full spectrum of facilities including multipurpose soccer and rugby fields, basketball courts, hockey fields, a skate park, rock climbing elements and an expansive children’s playground, a true destination for residents of all ages.

GX Outdoors was proud to collaborate with Landscape Solutions on this project, supplying a complete suite of durable, Australian-made furniture designed to enhance usability and comfort across the site. Its contributions included Integra EX table settings, park and bench seating, Citistyle bike hoops and bin enclosures, all chosen for performance, aesthetics and longevity.

A key feature of this installation is the TimberImage Blackbutt finish, offering the warm, natural look of timber with the strength and durability of 100% recyclable aluminium. This material not only blends seamlessly into the natural surroundings but also supports a circular economy and requires minimal maintenance over time.

Backed by a 20-year structural warranty and made right here in Australia, GX products allow for short lead times and reliable local support, ensuring public spaces like The Gables are built to last and serve the community for generations.
