PICTON BOTANIC GARDENS

Picton Botanic Gardens, a popular local destination, has undergone significant upgrades as part of the Picton Parklands Masterplan. These improvements aimed to enhance the park's accessibility, inclusivity, and overall appeal.

Wollondilly Shire Council enlisted GX Outdoors to help enhance the park's playspace and amenities. Key features include:

• Playspace A redesigned area with unique play elements, sensory features and a connecting boardwalk.

• Amenities Building A modern, fully accessible structure to replace the old amenities block.

• Shelters and BBQ Areas New aluminum shelters and accessible BBQ units to accommodate large groups in various weather conditions.

GX Outdoors provided durable and aesthetically pleasing park furniture which brings the space to life through the choice of colour.

The upgrades have transformed the Picton Botanic Gardens into a more inclusive and enjoyable space. Mayor Matt Gould praised the project for creating fun, inclusive areas for the entire community.
