GLOBAL FOOD MARKETS | CROYDON STREET UPGRADE

What happens when public spaces - parks, office areas, sports venues, and entertainment hubs - are reimagined through thoughtful design? The result is a unified, vibrant community destination that will shape the way people engage with their surroundings for generations.

This vision is exactly what the Logan City Council is bringing to life through its urban design master plan, which is built on several principles including:

People-focused Prioritising the needs and desires of the community in every public space.
Innovation Harnessing natural resources to seamlessly integrate nature into urban settings.
Community-centric Connecting people with local services, businesses, and each other.

A perfect example of this vision in action is the recently completed Croydon Street Upgrade in Woodridge, Queensland, home to the popular Global Food Markets and a hub for local businesses. Designed and implemented by The Landscape Construction Company (TLCC), this revitalisation enhances accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists, while infusing the area with vibrant colours and lush plantations.

Working with TLCC, GX helped bring their vision to life by providing its semi-customised Acacia Shelter, designed to support a green canopy. This innovative Shelter allows vines to grow up and blanket the canopy, creating a cool, natural retreat for the community.
