ASPIRING TO A TOUGH, NATURAL FINISH

Among hundreds of new housing blocks there is a featured parkland in Fairland’s new Aspire Estate in Griffin.

Located just north of Brisbane, the estate’s landscape managers sought Furphy’s to maximise the appeal of this park, which will no doubt be frequented by the many residents of the 200-odd lot estate. With the predicted heavy usage, durability and vandal resistance were also key considerations for choosing Furphy Foundry.

Fairland’s choice of furniture included the sophisticated Fulcrum seat and table set, several stand-alone Fulcrum seats, and a Furphy litter receptacle, all of which blend beautifully into the estate’s view over neighbourhood bushland.

The non-corrosive cast aluminium and hardwood timber slats featured in the Fulcrum are ideal for environments such as Griffin, which neighbours the fast-developing Moreton Bay. Cutek Extreme CD50 is used on the hardwood to enhance the timber grain and extend the furniture’s life.
