HG Turf had the pleasure of the completing installations for one of the biggest and most historic sporting events of 2023, the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The sheer size of the projects, boasting over 50,000m2 in some of the world’s largest stadiums and a further 50,000m2 in training facilities, this feat was nothing short of remarkable. 

The innovation of HERO Hybrid grass with Sport Group fibres came to life by collaborating closely with Sport Group, Polytex and Polytan. HG Turf and the respective R&D teams worked tirelessly to ensure the turf would perform at the most elite level, provide longevity across the span of the tournament and look pristine when broadcasted to billions of viewers around the world.
