Melbourne Zoo’s newest attraction is an immersive and interactive trail to discover the magical world of invertebrates thanks to Jungle Play!

The trail offers visitors an experiential wander while enjoying many of the Jungle Play favourites. Children are invited to embark on a quest to discover larger-than life versions of the flora and fauna comprising our unique and precious microcosm.

Lounging on a leaf seat, perching on a paper daisy, lunching in a gumnut chair or even riding a giant witchetty grub are options for children on the path to discover and appreciate the tiniest creatures and plants that form part of our natural ecosystem. Giant toadstools, wildflower and blue-banded bees also feature along the trail further encouraging the focus on the beauty and diversity of the natural world.

Jungle Play has helped transform Melbourne Zoo into a colourful world where imaginations can run wild. The interactive elements foster an environment of creativity and discovery, a place where kids can truly immerse themselves in the wonder of our world!
