Sutherland Shire Council required the construction of the outdoor play space at Canberra Road Childcare Centre in Sylvania. The site of approximately 403m2, provides the opportunity for active and passive recreation for children aged between 0-5 years.
Site works included:
- demolition of existing site
- earthworks and regrading, including mounding
- extensive drainage works including subsoil drains, pits and connection to stormwater
- hard works including construction of concrete paths, decking, walls, concrete edging, and footings
- softworks including planting, turf, mulch, stone boulders.
