Moodie’s range of Roocycle materials are a winner for customers who prioritise reliability, longevity and environmental sustainability in their projects. The Roocycle range covers a variety of materials containing recycled ingredients. Roocycle is available as a recycled plastic or as a wood-plastic composite (WPC). Typically the recycled component ranges between 95-99%, meaning that 0.95 - 0.99 kilograms of waste is diverted from Australian landfills per kilo of Roocycle.

Roocycle profiles are extruded in common shapes, dimensions and lengths, have rounded corners, no splinters and a long-life surface. These profiles are UV stabilised to ensure a longer lasting look for projects while also being termite and white ant resistant. Thermal stability prevents freezing with a low expansion rate of less than 1%. Roocycle is also able to be manipulated using traditional woodworking tools to dress, cut, drill, plane and rout. It is also non-toxic, so it won’t leach into the environment.

With an estimated lifecycle of 80-100 years, Roocycle materials are suitable for all construction projects and are so versatile in nature that they can be used as garden edging or to create street furniture, bollards and bins, as well as structures such as bridges, boardwalks, viewing platforms and stages.

Unlike traditional materials, Roocycle requires zero ongoing maintenance meaning that in the long run Roocycle not only provides environmental benefits but also financial ones!

Moodie Outdoor Products has significant experience with Roocycle materials and are happy to help when it comes to selecting the right material for the job, so please Contact Us today.
