Association Profile
Landscape Industries Association of WA Inc (LIAWA) is in its 45th year. As a not-for-profit organisation, it represents the landscape industries in Western Australia. Its mission is to support and inspire professional landscapers, garden designers and landscape suppliers to be leaders within an environmentally, ethically and commercially sustainable landscape industry.
LIAWA aspires to provide the community with the highest level of professionalism, assured by members practising its code of ethics.
LIAWA looks to advocate on behalf of members, provide networking opportunities, professional development, business support, recognition and awards, industry updates and news, supplier discounts and partnerships, marketing exposure and access to research and resources.
LIAWA membership is available to individuals and businesses who work within the landscaping industry. Membership in LIAWA offers a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support professional development, business growth and industry recognition. Business practices and members of the Landscape Industries Association of WA (LIAWA) agrees to:
- Maintain professionalism in all business dealings to enhance the respect for the industry at a national, state and local level
- Encourage the employment of apprentices and provide proper tuition and training schemes
- Maintain a professional relationship
- Encourage new business through a reputation for honest and fair dealing
- Encourage research and development of new materials and methods used in the industry
- Fulfill all contractual obligations as entered into by you and your company
- Maintain full comprehensive insurances to protect the general public and staff
