STORMWATER DRAIN FOR PINE MOUNTAIN

A stormwater drain required an urgent replacement for Queensland Healthy Land & Water. Previous attempts to repair the drain with Rip Rap had failed, with constant erosion causing the soil to flow into local waterways. To fix the problem, Australian Concrete Mats supplied and installed concrete erosion mats in Pine Mountain quickly and efficiently.

An excavator was used to dig and shape the water drainage channel, followed by the concrete erosion mats then being put in place. Metal stakes were used to pin down the edges of the mats, with additional rock used to secure it.

The mats create a safe and hard surface, which now enables water to flow down the slope and prevent contamination to the stream.
