BLOOMING GORGEOUS

Protea ‘White Crown’ can be used in large scale landscapes as a border plant, or grow happily in a tub and produces flowers throughout the year.
When most people think about Proteas, they think of a large shrub. Protea ‘White Crown’ (PBR) is just the opposite, only growing 45cm wide x 45cm high, it is just as stunning as any other Protea.
Protea ‘White Crown’ can be used in large scale landscapes as a border plant, or grow happily in a tub and produces flowers throughout the year.
As with most Proteas, White Crown is drought tolerant and requires little maintenance. Flowers can be cut and used in vases, and that is all the pruning this Protea needs to maintain its low growth habit.
Protea ‘White Crown’ grows well in full sun or part shade and can be grown in pots and gardens, but must have well-drained, acidic soil.
This variety was bred and developed in the Ausflora Pacific Nursery, along with a large range of Proteas, Leucadendrons, Leucospermums and Telopea(Waratah) as cutflowers and plants in pot sizes 42mm-250mm.
