MANSON OVAL PLAYGROUND

Manson Oval Playground in Bellevue Heights has been revitalised with a nature-inspired design. The new play equipment provides fun and enjoyment for children of different ages and abilities.

In the playground renewal at Manson Oval, the City of Mitcham wanted to provide new play equipment for children of a wider range of ages and abilities. Surrounded by existing trees, the playground incorporates a natural colour palette that complements the parkland setting. The new playspace, designed by Proludic, features innovative and durable play equipment including an Australian Ka’Yop Tree, a Diabolo Baby Multiplay, and more fun equipment with inclusive play features.

Ka’Yop Dynamic Tree

Specially designed with a colour palette complementary to Australian landscapes, the 'Grey Gum' Ka’Yop Dynamic Tree engages children from 3 years old into fun and active play.

The Ka’Yop Dynamic Tree is packed with fun and challenging motor activities such as sliding, climbing and gliding where children develop their physical skills in fun and dynamic ways. The Ka’Yop unit also includes a “random challenges” play panel to encourage group social play, and suspended seats for quiet play. The Ka’Yop Dynamic features up to 15 playful activities that can accommodate 29 children at once.

By choosing a Ka’Yop Tree for their playspace, the City of Mitcham contributed to the planting of 25 native trees in Australia!
