Hydro Construction Products worked hand-in-hand with the builder of the new Cucina Vivo restuarant on the Gold Coast to come up with a drainage solution for some unique needs.
Cucina Vivo is an upmarket Italian Restaurant situated at the Jupiters Resort and Casino on Queensland’s Gold Coast. This five star dining establishment boasts views of the Gold Coasts popular Broadbeach and has atmosphere reminiscent of outdoor dining in Tuscany.
During its construction as part of a major refurbishment in late 2014, Hydro Construction products worked closely with the builder to design a custom made curved stainless drain for the outdoor eating area.
Hydro also supplied our LS1000/60 from our solution range into the commercial kitchen, along with custom made basket wastes to suit. This is a classic example of the versatility of the solution range, and a great case study for the use of polymer concrete channel in a kitchen/food handling area. When installed correctly, polymer concrete provides a cost effective, non-porous alternative to a full stainless steel product.
