A driveway near Gladstone, QLD, required a safe and stable hard surface for guests to drive and park their vehicles near glamping tents. The driveway needed to protect the dunes from traffic across the sensitive dunes as well as be suitable for 2wd vehicles.
Providing one roll with a Non-Woven Geotextile Underlay, Australian Concrete Mats placed sand over the mat to cover the geogrid, creating an aesthetically pleasing space that resembles natural dunes. The end result was a driveway that was both safe and could support vehicles driving across it.
