RINGWOOD LAKE PARK

The playspace has been a collaborative project working closely with landscapers, Council and landscape architects. The team at Omnitech Playgrounds has challenged their skills and succeeded to produce this all-access custom tower structure and other smaller custom equipment for this unique site.

The main tower structure features an all-access ramp throughout, multiple slides at varying heights, plenty of climbing and imaginative play. The structure also features a high crow’s nest with a great vantage point over the whole playspace and lake surrounds. The best way down from this tallest point is to take the fast stainless-steel tube slide down, shooting you out ready to climb back up again.

The park features some smaller climbing equipment to challenge children of all ages. The play structure has been designed to blend into the natural surrounds inspired by the different levels of the rainforest including the forest floor with under deck play, the canopy level containing the all accessible ramp and the emergent layer featuring the tall crow’s nest.

The Ringwood Lake playspace has been designed to bring together many different play elements, textures and experiences, hoping to entice kids to play, experiment, learn, challenge and create within the space.
