PUBLIC SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT
22 Nov 2017
Public toilets are a critical infrastructure priority and need to address public safety concerns. Exeloo’s restrooms come with a range of features that deter anti-social behaviour and support offsite interventions.

ADVANCED CUBICLE DESIGN
Traditional sprawling, partition style restrooms can attract undesirable public use and often demand extra resources to manage the effects of anti-social loitering and vagrancy.
Secretive partition style layouts can harbour unseen dangers for the public, particularly children. Exeloo features direct opening gender neutral cubicles that allow parents and caregivers to safely scan the interior before allowing their child to enter.
The Exeloo design also allows parents to attend to younger children in contrast to traditional segregated male/female toilet layouts that can separate parents or caregivers from their children.

PUBLIC SECURITY
Pinhole security recorders can be fitted externally to Exeloo units. These unobtrusive cameras provide excellent field of vision and image storage capability that will identify vandals and other anti-social loiterers.
Exeloo sliding doors are manufactured from tough stainless steel and can be preset to automatically open at a maximum occupation time of 10 minutes. A loud alarm will also sound, drawing unwanted public attention if the time is exceeded.
Exeloo Platinum units are programmed to auto-wash the cubicles when the unit closes for the day. When combined, the automatic opening doors, alarms and auto-wash features create a highly undesirable environment for anyone intentionally misusing the facility, thereby ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all.

ONLINE ACCESS
Using broadband internet connection or mobile SIM technology, Asset and Facilities Managers can use the Exeloo Exeweb remote monitoring system to access usage statistics and other information about unit operation.
Exeweb can also detect and send alerts and SMS messages when the service bay or cubicles are accessed without authorisation. This feature alerts monitoring staff of a break-in to trigger an enforcement response.
INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES
Exeloo constantly strives to improve the safety and security of public toilets. Their modular ‘Plug and Play’ systems can often be retrofitted to upgrade existing facilities and lengthen the asset lifecycle of public toilet buildings.
These systems also help justify asset planning and improve lifecycle cost modelling, which is helpful to asset stakeholders.
Exeloo public toilet systems deliver real value, ensuring outcomes that match community needs. With a continued focus on safe, hygienic, socially inclusive public toilets, Exeloo is a category leader with their built-to-last innovations continuing to redefine benchmarks for asset management success.
