Product Solar Barbecue with Integrated Roof Panels
Brief To supply a solar barbecue to a park location where it was cost prohibitive to run mains power

Newcastle City Council were thrilled to come across Greenplate’s Solar Electric Barbecue for a project they were working on at Warrabrook Reserve. Owing to exorbitant costs to run power to this location, Council decided to install a Greenplate Solar Electric Barbecue. After the initial outlay there are no ongoing running costs making this purchase an investment for many, many years. Council decided to purchase the integrated roof panel system making it virtually undetectable that the BBQ is solar powered.

Greenplate^® also offer a bolt on racking system for their Solar Powered Barbecues as an alternative to integrated PVL panels. To our knowledge Greenplate^® is the only company that offers a Solar Electric Barbecue. Greenplate^® have installed a number of these Solar Electric Barbecues around the country. The first Solar Barbecue was installed in Logan City Council in 2001 some fifteen years ago. There has been absolutely no replacement of batteries in this time and the Barbecue is running as strong and as hot as ever.
