KOALA RESTORATION

by Ecoplant Australia

A variety of Eucalyptus trees were planted in prepared ground in the Stewardale Nature Refuge, restoring 60 hectares into an extension of the Flinders-Karawatha wildlife corridor.

The project is the largest State government funded Koala habitat restoration in Queensland. Ecoplant’s Speed Spade team worked closely with Ecosure to ensure quality planting and a high survival rate through extreme summer heat waves.
