BURNETT HEADS

Burnett Heads has recently undergone a major transformation with the upgrading of its main street. The new Streetscape has awoken the sleepy seaside village and has been a catalyst to further development within the area.

After more than five years of planning, and a lot of community consultation the new Burnett Heads town centre or Streetscape is complete. The major contractor for this development, Devcon, utilised furnishings from Grillex to compliment the coastal theme.

Starting with the Atessa Seats finished with Timber Slats, these seats tie in perfectly with the heavy wooden bollards used throughout the streetscape. To match the seats, Atessa bins were used throughout the project, however instead of using timber, they were finished with TimberImage. TimberImage utilises aluminium slats which are infused with the timber look through a process called sublimation. The end result is a product that looks like timber, but has the strength, durability and low maintenance capabilities of aluminium.

In addition to the key bin and seat pieces used throughout the streetscape, several complimentary items were also installed.

Reviva drinking fountains, which include the bottle refill and dog bowl options, have been installed throughout the project. Stainless-steel bike hoops and removable bollards can also be found throughout the project area.
