TOWN PLANNING REQUIREMENT ACHIEVED

Waterpave’s unique continuous porous paving system has been chosen to reduce impact on the root systems of existing native trees.
Waterpave’s seamless resin bonded porous paving system reduces rain water from flowing over hard surfaces and into the stormwater drainage system.
Waterpave’s latest project of its continuous porous paving system is for an Aged Care facility. Waterpave’s unique permeable product has been chosen as the preferred product for all external pathways. Our client had to comply with local council’s town planning to provide a permeable solution to reduce impact on the root systems of existing native trees on the property. By installing Waterpave’s permeable system in place of conventional hard surfacing (concrete or asphalt) town planning requirements were achieved together with added advantages the product provided for the aged care facility.
Once installed the paving system provides a seamless hard surface finish reducing:
- Trip hazards
- Slip hazards
- Puddles from standing water
- Landfill
Waterpave’s continuous porous paving system is virtually maintenance free and comes in a variety of colours both in 3mm and 6mm natural stone aggregates.
This unique product is exclusive to Waterpave.
Our client has the added benefit of installing a sustainable system that is WSUDS compliant and utilises old end-of-life rubber tyres to form the sub base. These recycled tyres would have otherwise entered into landfill or waterways.
